Shakespeare has created suspense in Act 1 as it will be nice to see that who will handle the property of Sir Rowland de Boys, whether Orlando and Oliver? It will also be nice to see that where does Rosalind goes after being sent to exile by Duke Fredrick. We will also see that if Celia and Rosalind will escape easily from the court and if they are able to flee away from the court, then Will Duke Fredrick will find them or not.Two of the main characters have gone to the forest of Arden.
The reader/viewer already knows from the prologue that Romeo and Juliet die, but the suspense is built because you go into the first act and don't know how it is going to happen. Romeo is lovesick (not for Juliet), and Paris wants to marry Juliet, and the Montagues and Capulets hate each other... so you wonder how is this going to work out?
