There are a number of similar versions. Here is one:

Monday's child is fair of face,

Tuesday's child is full of grace,

Wednesday's child is full of woe,

Thursday's child has far to go,

Friday's child is loving and giving,

Saturday's child works hard for a living,

But the child who is born on the Sabbath Day

Is bonny and blithe and good and gay.

And incidentally, the word gay is used in its old sense of cheerful, rather than its modern usage.

Ask your older relatives who were around when you were a child. That's not much to go on, but is likely the best you can do, unless you can locate the book that the poem was in.
