Well, basically here are some ideas to help you. (I'm doing a paper on this so it might help :)

Similarities:

  • Both love Juliet
  • both self-centered
  • --it seems Romeo is in love with love more thanhe is with Rosaline or Juliet.
  • Paris wants Juliet so bad he will do anything to have her even if it includes hurting her.
  • quick to marry
  • Romeo: marries Juliet only a couple days later after they meet on Sunday
  • Paris: even though told by Capulet that Juliet is too young to get married he insists that she be married at a young age and wants to marry her soon.

Differences:

  • Romeo is younger than Paris.
  • Paris has Capulet's blessing to marry Juliet but Romeo doesn't (remember the ancient grudge between the Capulets and the Montagues.)
  • Paris: Kinsman of the Prince
  • : noble suitor to Juliet
  • Romeo: son of Montague and lady Montague
  • : about 16
  • :handsome, intelligent
  • : only wants love (not the violence between the 2 families aka capulets and montagues)

That's pretty much all that I have..

:)
