Shakespeare did not write "stories". He wrote plays and poetry, but the stories the plays and poetry told were not, for the most part, original to Shakespeare. For example, he wrote the play Macbeth, but the story of Macbeth is one which he found in a book called Holinshed's Chronicles. Likewise the stories he tells in his narrative poems The Rape of Lucrece and Venus and Adonis are not original.
Two plays which do appear to have plots which Shakespeare actually invented are A Midsummer Night's Dream and The Merry Wives of Windsor.

For many years I have watched the Lifetime Movie Channel. I have many friends who one the weekend watch also. Now we have more true crime stories and ghost stories. These are on many other channels and did not have to be put on the lifetime channel. Everyone I know is no longer watching the LMC. I think it is rediculous to put these crimes stories on a movie channel.
If you mean, how many of Shakespeare's plays were printed in his lifetime, the answer is nineteen. There were loads of other plays by other authors printed as well, many of them anonymously.
