It depends when you are talking about, and what kind of seat you are talking about. In the 400 plus years of Shakespeare performances, there have been a lot of different ticket prices in a lot of different currencies.

And yes, that even applies to Shakespeare's time. The cheapest ticket at the Globe was a penny, but the cheapest ticket at the Blackfriars was sixpence.
