If you're talking about dancing, like, dancing at a studio...like me, then the goofier you feel the better you look on stage.
But, if you are talking about dancing outside of a studio then here is a peice of advice:
You have to feel comfortable about yourself for others to feel comfortable about you. And, who cares what anyone else thinks?! Just have a good time.
Simple, put her hands where they should be as just tell her to copy you. Slow dancing is really easy to pick up so it wount take her long. (Sorry for any spelling mistakes, can someone fix them please, the delet this)

In a way that could help be conscious of mistakes. But learned to be yourself and let the relationship flow, don't be afraid of mistakes but apologize when you do one.
A small percentage are afraid - or, at least, uncomfortable around them. Afraid they might be hit on. Afraid the guy is looking at them and thinking about what they might do to them. Some are afraid of guilt by association. If you are around a gay guy, you might be gay also. Rarely are any of these fears justified.
