As Noises Off takes place in Britain, one could assume that Lloyd has a British accent.
if you mean that Italian kind of New York accent, watch the Sopranos a lotWatch the show "King of Queens" the main characters on that show speak a perfect New York accent.Actually Sopranos has more of a Jersey accent than New York, there are subtle differences. Jerseyites say "You's guys" and New Yorkers really don't say it.I wouldn't recommend doing an accent based off of King of Queens. Mostly because a Queens accent and even a standard New York accent aren't the same as a Bronx accent. There is a website called ehow.com and I believe they have samples of people from the Bronx speaking. Great to listen to and pick up some of the accent. You may also want to try getting accent tapes at the library as well as books so you can phonetically mark your script and learn the words in the way they would be spoken as opposed to memorizing and then going back to fix accent. There is a series called "Acting with an Accent" but I believe they only have New York, it's a start! There is also a book called, "A Guide to American Dialects" that gives great pronunciation tips and ways to mark your script.

'Noises Off' was written by Michael Frayn. The play is a comedy about characters who are themselves actors, resulting in a 'play within a play'. The play consists of three performances of the play-within-a-play at three different time periods, showing the collapse of the project and the actors' personal issues with one another.

Syncopation is accents occurring "off" the beat - count carefully and work on shortening, making notes falling on the beat lighter and shorter, helping the sound when you accent the "off-the-beat" note(s).
