St Saviours, Southwark. He was buried inside the church on 31 December 1607 rather than in the churchyard which suggests that his brother William may well have paid for the funeral arrangements. Edmund was almost certainly a hired man playing for one or more acting companies at the time. He would not have been a rich man and the fact that the church bells rang out at his funeral further suggests the involvement of William who worked in the parish at the Globe Theatre - a short walk from the church.
