It is possible, but highly unlikely. An untrained voice cannot become an Opera singer. Depending on the talent and the natural voice of the trainee, and guidance from a private teacher, it is possible to gain experience in community or college opera programs. Even major opera stars continue study with and assistance from vocal coaches.
