Normally, mini-jack means a 3.5mm jack.

3.5mm jack or 1/8" jack are recognized descriptions of the connector series that include 2, 3 or 4 channel versions using the same diameter shaft on the male connector. Note that although 1/8" is not the precise size, it is still accepted as an accurate description of the connector range.

Min-jack is not generally used as a description for specification purposes and the same name has been used to describe 2.5mm jack plugs, Mini-DIN connectors, RCS and phono connectors. If you are told that a connection is a mini-jack, you need to ask more questions to be sure of the connector.

What is meant by 3.2 mm audio jack?

The question probably refers to a 3.5mm jack rather than a 3.2mm jack. A 3.5mm jack or 1/8 inch jack is the small headphone connector used in Ipods, MP3 players, laptops and other domestic audio equipment. The mathematically minded or just plain nerdy among us will notice that 3.5mm is larger than 1/8th inch. Despite this, they are the same connector. The accurate diameter is 3.5mm but the US designation of 1/8" is far easier to remember than a 9/64" connector or a 0.1378" connector. The European size is due to the fact that Europe is wholly operating with metric measurements. Having said that, the 3.5mm jack's big brother is known throughout Europe as a 1/4" jack rather than a 6.35mm jack so maybe Europe isn't quite as metric as we think.

What kind of cable and connector connects outside speaker to TV with a digital audio jack?

Speakers are analog devices. There is no cable and connector that will connect a digital audio jack to a speaker without a digital to analog conversion and an amplifier. If the audio output is digital, you will need a compatible amplifier that has the same digital input. Then you will need to link the amplifier to the speaker with exterior grade cable.

Who is the author of the story Jack and the Beanstalk?

Courage- He defeats the giant who, upon entering finds out by the giantess (according to The Red Fairy Book, or "a plain looking woman" according to what we may call the "standard story of Jack and the Beanstalk" which I found in The Children's Book: A Collections of the Best and Most Famous Stories and Poems in the English Language, chosen by Horace E. Scudden, published 1883) that the giant who Jack is meant to defeat likes eating human flesh. Even though he is risking his life, courage, his promise to the fairy, and the prospect of winning his riches back; will push him to enter the house on three different occasions and come out in the end victorious. The Red Fairy Book: "... he remembered that fear disgraces a man; so he struggled to be brave and make the best of things."Good vs. Evil or Right vs. Wrong- The giant has stolen his fathers possessions (whether he was a "noble knight" or just a "good man" differs) making him bad vs. Jack who has lost his potential wealth due to the giant; making him good (The Read Fairy Book: Jack:"I fear nothing when I'm doing right")Vengeance- As was mentioned before, Jack is getting revenge on the horrible giant who has taken his wealth and his father away from him.Karma- Jacks father was what we may call a philanthropist: "Your father was a rich man, his disposition remarkable benevolent; he was very good to the poor" (The Children's Book: A Collections of the Best and Most Famous Stories and Poems in the English Language). In wanting to help out the giant who mislead Jack's father into thinking he was a gentleman who had lost everything in an earthquake (the giants story differs although he did make up a story of some sort). Jack's father took him under his wing and helped him out only to be kiloled by the giants in the end, steal all his possessions, burn down the house and only spared Jack's and his mothers life because his mother begged and pleaded (this also differs but the concept still remains the same). Jack gets his revenge by regaining all that was stolen from his father and killing the giant. The Children's Book: A Collections of the Best and Most Famous Stories and Poems in the English Language(p.164-174)The Red Fairy Book (p.133-145)

Do 3.5 mm to split RCA adapters work in reverse --Just in general to convert sound from RCA back to headphones as well?

Yes. RCA is just Signal+Ground carried separately for Left and Right - stereo jacks carry them both on the same connector, with common Ground between them. Do keep in mind which connector you wish to use on the jack end -- RCA connectors are always male-to-male, but jack cables are of the male-to-female persuasion.

What is the value of a Hillerich and Bradsby no 2 mini cracker jack bat worth?

H&B Mini Cracker Jack Baseball BatI'm not familiar with this particular variation of the Mini Cracker Jack Bat. The full sized Craker Jack baseball bats are commonly found on eBay selling for about $40.00 in excellent condition. Size and condition are important on putting a value on the bat. The mini bat because it is more rare might sell at the same price or more. The Craker Jack was an inexpensive kids baseball bat carried for years in the Hillerich & Bradsy line of store model retail bats. The Cracker Jack model has nothing to do with the caramel coated popcorn snack as some people believe. If anything the naming of the bat was a marketing ploy to sell bats off of the popularity of the snack.
