If you for get all that, never lock your knees, and keep your lower abs tight.

Never forget to breathe, drink lots of water, and LISTEN TO YOUR BODY!!

If you feel pain ADJUST or ABORT.

I always tell my students "This is your class, not mine. This is for you, not for me. You know your body better than I do, so if you feel like you have to stop - then stop, take a drink of water, and join us when you feel ready again."

If you have preexisting injuries that are not dance related, consider wearing a brace, or support for that area.
