The poem Crossing Over deals with the misconception of AIDS sufferers. The imagery and significance of the title tie into the poem frequently. "Crossing over" canbe interpreted as the AIDS symbol (a crossed red ribbon), the embrace of crossed arms ("I hugged them for a moment"), the transition into the church from the other side of the railway (crossing into a new community) and their inevitable death (crossing into the afterlife/heaven)

The speaker has learnt empathy and realises his own fortune after being taken aback by the stoic attitudes of the couple despite their condition.

What Saturday night live skits were Chris Farley and Tim Meadows in together?

Chris Farley & Tim Meadows were both in a SNL skit in 1991 about the Brady Bill, the law which would require a 10 day waiting period for people wanting to purchase a hand gun. The skit also starred Dana Carvey, Kevin Nealon, Chris Rock & the late Phil Hartman as skit narrator Charlton Heston. This was one of my favorite skits from SNL as Chris Farley's performance was hilariously over-exagerated, in his usual, classic way. I've been trying to find this skit on the internet but have had absolutely no luck thus far.

I f not expressed independently then these genes are probably linked by being close together on the chromosome and traveling as a pair during crossing over. A student of Thomas Hunt Morgan come up with the mathematical analysis of this phenomenom.
