It's a play. It was written by William Shakespeare. It is the original romantic comedy in which a man and woman are so used to snarking at each other that they can't see that they ought to be together.
Much Ado About Nothing is basically about two couples; Hero and Claudio, and Benedick and Beatrice. Hero and Claudio fall in love "at first sight", but Claudio is tricked by Don John into believing that Hero has been unfaithful and the couple must overcome Don John's trickery. Benedick and Beatrice are the exact opposite of our first couple. They vow that they will never marry anyone and will remain bachelors for life [and bachelorettes]. They are tricked by Don Pedro, Don John's more empathetic brother into believing that the other is madly and secretly in love with them. They both decide to tame their wild hearts in each other's loving hands, and pity the other by returning one another's "love". Both couples end up getting married after all the secrets are revealed and marry for truly true love. THE END! :)
Much Ado About Nothing is a romantic comedy by William Shakespeare set in Messina, Sicily. The story concerns a pair of lovers named Claudio and Hero who are due to be married in a week. To pass the time before their wedding day, they conspire with Don Pedro, the prince of Aragon, to trick their friends, Beatrice and Benedick, into confessing their love for one another. The prince's illegitimate brother, Don John, however, jealous of both Don Pedro's power and his affection for Claudio, plans to sabotage the coming wedding.
Don John's plan works and Claudio humiliates Hero and wrecks the wedding. Hero is reported dead of the shame. Benedick, meanwhile, is asked by Beatrice to kill his best friend Claudio for shaming her cousin Hero. Benedick challenges Claudio. But a group of idiotic police constables find out about what Don John did and report it to the authorities. Claudio confesses his wrong and his regret that he has caused Hero's death, and Benedick doesn't have to kill him after all. Hero's father says that he has a neice who Claudio can marry instead, and they arrange the wedding only to find out that the neice is Hero herself! She didn't die after all. Claudio and Hero marry and produce documentary proof that Beatrice and Benedick (who try at the last minute to deny that they care about each other) love each other, so they get married too.
A lot of talking, from which we find out that Beatrice likes to needle Benedick, that Benedick likes to make jokes about the propect of marriage and that Claudio is interested in marrying Leonato's daughter Hero.

Kenneth Branagh . I'm watching this movie with my class.....
In the 1994 Ken Branagh movie, she played Hero.
That would be "Much Ado About Nothing."
Shakespeare's play Much Ado About Nothing is basically a play of characters that make a big deal out of nothing, hence the name. This play can be interpreted as Shakespeare making fun of those who founded their knowledge of things on gossip and hearsay; making gossip understood as truthful and letting it get out of hand. This understanding of gossip leading to bigger issues is relevant in any society with communication and ideals concerning social standards, thus throughout modern times.
I have never heard of "Much To Do About Nothing". The Shakespearean play is called "Much Ado About Nothing", and the name of one of the characters in it is Dogberry.

It depends, what kind of movie it is, how known they are and so on. From almost nothing to huge amounts.
The 1994 movie of Much Ado About Nothing starring Kenneth Branagh, Emma Thompson, Kate Beckinsale, Robert Sean Leonard and Denzel Washington uses Shakespeare's dialogue and is quite faithful to the text.
