Most links in watch bands are held together by tiny pins. The pins can typically only be removed from one side as they tend to be larger on one end. The pins are often difficult to remove and may not be present in all links. A small sewing pin usually works well to push the pins out. Do not lose the pins as they will be needed to put the links back together. Remove the desired link and place the remaining ones back together and secure the pin. If removing more than one link, remove equal numbers on each side of the clasp. If the pins cannot be removed, consult a jeweler.
