There is a famous poem with that precise theme: "Richard Corey," by Edwin Arlington Robinson. Worse luck, in the poem there is no evidence bearing on Richard Corey's heritage. Has your memory played a trick? Or, what is more likely, am I simply ignorant about African American poetry, and do I have the wrong poem in mind?
Richard Corey
WHENEVER Richard Cory went down town,
We people on the pavement looked at him:
He was a gentleman from sole to crown,
Clean favored, and imperially slim.
And he was always quietly arrayed,
And he was always human when he talked;
But still he fluttered pulses when he said,
"Good-morning," and he glittered when he walked.
And he was rich-yes, richer than a king,
And admirably schooled in every grace:
In fine, we thought that he was everything
To make us wish that we were in his place.
So on we worked, and waited for the light,
And went without the meat, and cursed the bread;
And Richard Cory, one calm summer night,
Went home and put a bullet through his head.

You revise poems for GCSE English Literature by finding a poem that intersts you, read it carefully, annotate it, read it again and write about feelings, emotions that the poem creates. This will help ypu understand the poem and understand its meaning. If I were you, we would choose a variety of poems from different emotions they cause. Thank you for reading our contribution, L+A

This poem is talking about death and war. It was talking about how the people died in war and the sadness.
I believe it was written by the Disabled War Poet Tom Weaver. He is a brain damaged former soldier. Many people think he is English because of his strong Yorkshire accent but he is Scottish. He wrote Thank God for this Great War for the Centenary of WW1 and gifted it to Bridgend County Borough Council.
This is a poem that tells about adjective and modifier and modifies...... un na un!!! thank u!!!!!
* Buy them a nice card of thanks (the poem says it all) and sign the card. If you already just have blank Thank You Cards, then you could put: Dear _____ Thank you for all these months of taking such good care of ____________. I appreciate your loving dedication and your patience.

This poem The White Swan was recited at the first performance of the very famous ballet solo The Dying Swan danced by ballerina Anna Pavlova. Fokine was the choreographer. That's the information I have - what I don't have is the poem by Konstantine Balmont - The White Swan. If you have this poem The White Swan by Balmont - I'd appreciate your typing it out. Thank you.

Well first you have to show appreciation by saying thank you. There is a meaning to every thing, it could be a form of appreciation or likeness.
