Five of six would be Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Barritone and Bass, Soprano being the highest female voice, and alto lower. Tenor is the higher male voice, with barritone and bass being sequentially lower. These ranges actually overlap, as I as a tenor can hit many notes in the alto and soprano range, even though I am male. I can also dive into the barritone and even a little of the bass. In barbershop chorus, there are four vocal ranges. Tenor (the highest, usually sung by a young boy) Lead (the melody) Barritone (counter melody, lower) and Bass (bass)

Singing requires more control and precision of pitch, tone, and volume compared to speaking. Additionally, singing often involves sustaining notes for longer durations and transitioning between different pitches seamlessly, placing greater demands on the vocal cords and respiratory muscles. Overall, the complexities of melody and rhythm in singing make it more challenging than speaking.
