"Now old desire doth in his death-bed lie." - Romeo over Rosaline's love- now that he has found love elsewhere with Juliet.
This is not the right answer! This is found in the Act 2 Prologue, not in Act 1.
This is what i found when the chorus was speaking:
in line 1: "Now old desire doth in his death-bed lie." These words let us know that Romeo no longer has feelings for Rosaline, now that he has met Juliet.
"Her traces, of the smallest spider's web" (Mercutio, in Act 1 Scene 4)
"That which we call a rose by any other name would smell as sweet." (Juliet, Act 2 Scene 2)
"O, I am Fortune's Fool!" (Romeo, Act 3 Scene 1)
"Life and those lips have long been separated" (Capulet, Act 4 Scene 5)
"The sun for sorrow will not show his head" (The Prince, Act 5 Scene 3)
And who could forget Mercutio's "blind bow-boy's butt-shaft" and "courageous captain of compliments" in Act 2 Scene 4?
"blind bow-boy's butt-shaft" in act 2 scene 4.
"I'll look to love, if looking liking move."
How about "these happy masks that kiss fair ladies' brows, being black puts us in mind they hide the fair".
dost thou make us minstrels?
"Misty mountain tops" is one.
huh
