Some dance moves of the 1990's are the Cotton Eyed Joe, which has a song to it; the Macarena, which has a song to it; and the Cha Cha Slide aka the Casper Slide which has a song to it also. Sorry I don't have more!!!
There is different terminology for dance moves depending on the style you are looking at. Here are some examples:
Hip Hop/Urban Dance- breaking, popping, locking, jerking, tricking
Tap- shuffle, ball change, time step
Ballet- plie, grand jete, pirouette, fouette
Jazz- jazz square, grape vine, tuck jump
Modern- contraction, triplet step, high release
To do an easy move, do the spongebob, the jerk, or just make something up.
