Not to disparage The Bard-- he is arguably the greatest figure in English letters-- but he has been rather thoroughly studied over the last few centuries and it's not likely that we'll come up with anything new. But it came to me that it would be fun to create a short production that includes several different characters from as many plays as you can manage, with as much of the original script as possible. Possibly have a narrator fill in the story line between 'scenes'. You could do this in a humorous way, or with a great deal of effort you might be able to condense out some main themes/archetypes in Shakespeare's works and produce something of depth and interest. Just an off-the-cuff idea. I have no idea what level you are, and how involved the project has to be. This may be more ambitious than your project requires.
