At the time of his death (1616) his fellow actors thought his work would be popular enough to issue a collected works volume, which they did within ten years.

People still LOVE his plays! though SOME may think that Romeo and Juliet was a LITTLE too mushy and dramatic but others think it's AWEsome!!! Who doesn't STILL like Shakespear and his plays!
