it is genetic, don't be white. it ends up being heart rate and endurance for most people. old people will break a hip. to be a good dancer you MUST have good core strength (strong stomach, butt and thighs). if you have this then dancing is so much easier and you can do anything in dance with a good core! also it helps for a ballet dancer, or really any kind of dancer, to have strong ankles and good balance.
What kind of schooling do you need to become a dancer?
You need lots of Ballet. I recommend starting at a very young age if you want to be professional. Jazz is also a good dance style to have under your belt if you want to be a dancer. If your looking at being a Musical Theater dancer then you NEED to have tap. You never know when you could be asked to tap dance.

You don't! To be a good dancer, you have to have passion for dancing and move to the beat. But if you think you do, its because you want to improve your dancing and/or learn how to dance like a pro
