In his speech on pg. 109 in A Raisin in the Sun, Walter says "Just tell me, what it is you want to be... and I hand you the world!" Walter wants to make a business deal to ensure the safety of his family in the future, and as the story progesses, he realizes that the man he trusted to care for his money has vanished.
