Why does the prince decide not to sentence Romeo to death?

The prince doesn't sentence Romeo to death because: 1) If Romeo didn't kill Tybalt, he would've been executed anyway 2) Tybalt would've killed Romeo if Mercutio hadn't stepped in. Mercutio died because Tybalt killed him, and Tybalt died because Romeo killed him. 3) Tybalt paid the price for killing Mercutio, and when the prince asked who would "pay" for Mercutio's death, Montague said Romeo shouldn't have to because they were good friends, and Romeo killed Tybalt to avenge Mercutio.

What do Romeos father and Juliets father do at the end of the play?

Decide that they are going to make statues of Romeo and Juliet out of very expensive materials and agree to stop fighting.

Why does mercutio decide to fight Tybalt and save romeo?

Mercutio does not "save Romeo" in the play by fighting Tybalt. Tybalt is about to walk away in contempt of the coward Romeo who will not fight him, and Mercutio gets involved, ostensibly to save Romeo's honour but basically just to get into a scrap. In the 1996 Baz Luhrman movie, the director has Tybalt beating Romeo when he will not fight, which does prompt Mercutio to join the fight. In that version Mercutio thinks that Tybalt will kill Romeo and that he needs to intervene to save his life. It's a more flattering read for Mercutio than what Shakespeare wrote.

Why does Tybalt want to kill Romeo?

Romeo had to kill someone, in order for the sequence of events to happen properly. Tybalt has been set up as a quarrelsome man who imagines that he has a grudge against Romeo for crashing Capulet's party (Capulet didn't seem to mind) and so will inevitably create a fight, which creates the occasion for Romeo to kill him.

Who is the story villain in Romeo and Juliet?

The antagonist in the play would be The Capulet Family or the Montague family since they would not let Romeo and Juliet be married since the ancient feud and that's why they had to get married without their families knowing.

Why did Romeo killing Tybalt put Juliet in a bad position what did she finally decide?

Romeo killed Tybalt because Tybalt killed Mercutio. He made the decision without thinking about the consequences in regard to his relationship with Juliet. Had he deliberated more, he may not have done it, because the act of revenge would inevitably tear him away from his love because of the decree the prince made regarding the conflict between the Montagues and the Capulets.

Who decides if you are guilty if you did something wrong in England?

That depends on the seriousness of the crime. For petty crime, shoplifting, speeding and so on, the local magistrate would decide in the Magistrates Court. The punishment would be a fine or some public service. More serious cases of crime would be tried in a crown court before a judge and jury. The jury would decide on guilt and the judge would decide on the punishment. The punishment would be jail.
