If you are a dancer you should bring all your costumes and costume pieces. That includes hats, props, and our ballet slippers, pointe shoes, and/or tap shoes. Bring make up. Even if you apply some in the car before the recital, you will need to reapply. Also, take hairspray with you. It helps to keep your hair in place whether it is in a bun or french braid. Take clothes pins and hair pins with you. I also take clothing tape with me just to help keep my costume in place. You don't want any accidents. Some studios allow performers to wear strapless tan bras. If your studio will allow this, make sure you bring one. I also suggest bringing a book with you just in case you are bored in between numbers and you want to entertain yourselves. If you want you can bring your camera and take photos of fellow dancers.
