Why did shakespeare leave out words in his writings?

He left the wedding ceremony between Romeo and Juliet out because nothing interesting happens at it, and watching it would not help the audience understand any better that they were married. He also leaves the wedding ceremony out of The Taming of the Shrew, although he describes it. This may have been because of Petruchio's swearing in church, which might have been hard to get by the censors. On the other hand, he included the wedding ceremony between Hero and Claudio in Much Ado About Nothing which is extremely dramatic and ends with Hero shamed and left at the altar. He kept the wedding scene in As You Like It because it is there that the reveal of who "Ganymede" really is takes place. On the other hand, the weddings in Midsummer Night's Dream are not portrayed, although the entertainment after and the departure of the couples to their marriage beds is. The wedding between Olivia and Sebastian in Twelfth Night is likewise not portrayed because nothing dramatic happens at it. Generally, Shakespeare did not portray weddings unless there was something of overriding dramtic importance which happens at the wedding. They are not interesting enough.

What is a critical essay on Oedipus as an abomination?

An abomination describes someone who deserves to be hated and who's worthy of disgust. Theban King Oedipus is an abomination throughout the play 'Oedipus Rex'. But in the beginning, not one of the characters realizes this fact.By the end, though, everyone and most particularly Oedipus realizes the horror of what he is. What happens between the prologue and the exodus is the information on Oedipus' true identity and the true nature of his marriage to Theban Queen Jocasta. By the end, Thebans understand that they've been upholding an indecent relationship as a model marriage, and a double murderer and sex offender as a hero. And Oedipus understands too.

Comparative study between shakespeare and kalidas?

There can be no comparision between the two. Simply because the west has one, our country/language has to have one. So it happens to be Kalidasa. All comparisions between them are subjective. The comparisions are abstract and lack objectivity.

If your husband was married in CA when he married you in Tijuana are you married?

It does not matter where a marriage happens. If a person goes though a marriage ceremony with someone when they are already legally married to someone else, then the second marriage ceremony is not legally valid and you are not married. The person who is already married is also committing a crime. So the answer is - No you are not married. You should also be aware that his first wife is his legal heir at law if he should die and leave any estate. You have no rights in that regard and you have no husband.

What happens at a Christian marriage?

A man and a woman enter into a covenant (promise) before God and man to faithfully love and hold one another until death. The rest is man's word. Ceremony is up to the families and faiths thereof. Glass stomping, broom jumping, candle lighting, that is all ceremony, not proscribed by religious edict. The covenant is the ceremony that is recognized by the church and by God.
