Roger B Rueda is a a freelance writer: his poems, short stories, and essays have appeared in publications that include The Sunday Times, Philippine Panorama, Home Life, Hiligaynon, Philippines Graphicand Files. His poems have been anthologised in the Mantala 3 (NCCA) and Under the Storm: An Anthology of Philippine Contemporary Poetry(The Antithesis Collective Publishing Company).He received writing fellowships from the U.P. Institute of Creative Writing (in 2002, poetry) and Mindanao State University (in 2005, fiction). He's the author of the books A Plain and Practically Lucid English Grammar (Centralbooks, 2009). Solitude: Poems (Binas Publishing, 2012) and contributing writer for a Manila-based magazine DDG.He teaches ESL/writing at Jinsoo Foreign Language Institute-Philippines Language Centre. He's reading a master's degree in instructional leadership at the ISCOF School of Graduate Studies in Tiwi, Barotac Nuevo.
