A circle of attention in drama refers to the focused area of a performance where the actors' concentration is directed, creating a sense of reality and immersion for both the performers and the audience. This concept encourages actors to maintain their focus on their surroundings and each other, which enhances the believability of the scene. It helps to define the emotional and physical space of the performance, allowing the audience to engage more deeply with the action and the characters.

The circles of attention in drama refer to the levels of focus that an actor can maintain during a performance. These circles can range from a small, intense focus on a specific object or character, to a broader awareness of the entire stage and audience. The inner circle represents the actor's direct engagement with their immediate surroundings, while the outer circles encompass the larger context of the performance. This technique helps actors maintain concentration and enhances their ability to respond authentically to their environment.
