COD stands for 'Crew on Display' it is a traditional performance, done by technical staff towards the end of a panto season. It is their version of the show, and usually involves jokes about events which happen during the run, and tends to work to an 18+ entry policy. It is performed to company members, theatre staff and sometimes friends and is normally rude. Although becoming less common, theatres such as Milton Keynes, Mansfield, Nottingham Playhouse, Newcastle, and Wimbledon still put on a great show.
