What is lathorn?

Lathorn is a surname which has nothing to do with Shakespeare.

"Lanthorn", on the other hand, is a word used in A Midsummer Night's Dream: "This lanthorn doth the horned moon present." It's an obsolete spelling of the word "lantern".
