Opera dance is the art and technique of the dancing when performing in an opera. The first opera dances were perhaps way back in Ancient Greece, but the most famous opera dance is from 'The Chinese Opera' style. The most known is 'The Peking Opera'. This has an extensive history and combines dance movements with arial work, like gymnastics with stylized acting.Famous action/martial artists, such as Brue Lee & Jacki Chan have studied Chinese Opera. This has provided them with a very solid strong physical base for their martial art and acting. It is however regarded as a dance form and a technique unique to China.
