I would say it's a combination of Man vs Man and Man vs Society (although both main characters also had to overcome their limitations and prejudices).
Topol (Israeli actor Haim Topol) played the lead character, Tevye in the 1971 movie. However, his character is a milkman, not the fiddler himself, who appears in the film at strategic points but has no spoken lines.

If you are asking how many years until the remake. That I am not sure of. I heard some rumors of there being a remake, but I pray to God that they ARE NOT TRUE. West Side Story is one of those classic untouchable movies. It's in the category with Gone With the Wind and perhaps even The Seven Year Itch. If they remade it, today's society would ruin everything the movie is about. I believe if they remade it, they would add more violence and make the dances, club scenes. The movie would become racey and I don't think that it would compare to the original... At all.

Man vs. nature in stories involves a conflict between a character or characters and the natural elements, such as weather, animals, or geography. This conflict often highlights the struggle for survival, resilience, and the power dynamics between humanity and the environment. It can also serve to underscore themes related to the fragility and unpredictability of nature.
Neil kills himself in The Dead Poet's Society because his dad wouldn't let him become an actor and was always mean to him and his life was hard
The four types of conflicts in literature are:Man vs. Man, Man vs. Self, Man vs. Society, and Man vs. Nature. These are all self explanatory, man for example could be a hero fighting a villain, self being an internal conflict such as a moral choice, society for example a character rebelling against a corrupt totalitarian government, and nature being the cycle of life and death for example. Some people recognize a fifth conflict being Man vs. Universe as well.or you could add man vs. machine if you want. :]There are more the four types, however generally the most broad are: person vs. person, person vs. self, person vs. society, person vs. nature/fate.
