yes there are. they are the same as ballet. Most teachers will have u dance with legs turned in while jazz dancing however. so all of the positions would be in parallel, rather than turned out.

Yes, you can just dance to the beat and just go with the flow! And just remember fun! :) You can also do research on dance positions or dance steps in a particular category of dance such as ballet. Just do research and learn from watching other people dance.
