The 1991 2.2 Plymouth Sundance America has a oil capacity of 4.5 Quarts
You can purchase a dipstick from the dealer.
I have a 94 Plymouth sundance duster. I am sure the location is the same. It should be right behind your oil filter underneath the engine. If you jack the front end up and slide underneath, you should see it behind the oil filer. If yo have the six cylinder the above is true. If you have a four cylinder the starter is under the manifolds on the rear of the engine.
Should be much better than that with normal driving conditions. An oxygen sensor could be faulty. It most likely will be the map sensor, when the map sensor goes bad you may have a lake of performance, bad mileage, inconsistant idle, and spit and sputter at constant speed or all of the above, to test map sensor use a meter (DC) if you get 0 volts or above 4.5 volts it is bad. normal voltage is 1.5 volts at an idle.
$50-75 if you do it yourself, skys the limit depending where you are at. $250-5-600. If it is blowing water out the exaust and not pressure into the radiator or oil. Only if it is going out the exaust, go to a parts store, or even Wal=mart and get one of several different brand of stop leak that looks like a bunch of copper filings in the bottom of the bottle and clear liquid on top. Follow the directions and see if the head problen doesn't stop. $6-7 is worth the try.
5w30 should work fine. I have a 1993 sundance duster and that's what I use.
