Hamlet Sr (Old Hamlet) was the King of Denmark and Hamlet Jr's (Hamlet) father. Hamlet Sr dies at the beginning of the play and the story follows Hamlet Jr as the main character.
Hope this helps,
Have a great day.
The main plot is the revenge plot. Hamlet learns his father was killed by his uncle; he pretends to be crazy to get close to Claudius and does eventually kill him. There is a subplot about Ophelia. There is another subplot about his relationship with his mother. There is yet another about his relationship with Rosecrantz and Guildenstern.
he think that hamlet is going mad due the love. the love between Hamlet and Ophelia.
Hamlet's old school chums Rosencrantz and Guildenstern.
The degree of relationship between Hamlet and Ophelia is quite unknown to the reader, although it is somewhat suggested in the text that they were, in fact, together. This subplot shows that when Hamlet pretends to be - or actually does become - insane that it effects Ophelia on a very deep level. The rejection Ophelia is given by Hamlet sends her into insanity - and in the end suicide. This is an aspect of irony, something Shakespeare liked to use in his work. By pretending to be insane, Hamlet causes Ophelia to actually become insane - a type of casualty caused by Hamlet's need to know the truth about his father's death.
The line "To be or not to be..." is from Hamlet. Dating of Shakespeare's plays is an uncertain science but most scholars consider it was written sometime between 1598 and 1603. Shakespeare was born in 1564 so he would have been aged 36 to 39 when Hamlet was written.

Although love fails often in Hamlet, there is much love in the play. Ophelia loves Hamlet, Gertrude loves Hamlet, and despite his anger, Hamlet loves Gertrude. Hamlet also loves his father dearly, and this love prompts, in part, his desire for revenge. There is also love between friends, as seen in the relationship between Hamlet and Horatio.
They are friends of Hamlet's from school.
Her father Polonius. Her brother Laertes.
He must have had a very loving relationship with his father because only months after his death while everyone in the kingdom was celebrating the marriage of Claudius and Gertrude, Hamlet was wearing all black & still lamenting the death of his father.
The type of relationship between a young girl and the old man is sexual offense of age.
Yes there is a relationship between the old testament and the law , as the book of Moses Leviticus is full of laws the Jews had to follow.
Horatio is the only person who stays true to Hamlet through the entirety of the play. He always remains Hamlet's true friend throughout the story.
Only to Yoric, Horatio and Old Hamlet; The rest of the cast gets a lot of flack from Hamlet.[and heccuba~]
The play did not indicate what people thought about Old Hamlet's death, the cause, I mean.
