I f it is the one I am thinking of she ws a Business, personal-finance columnist with one of the major newspapers and her column was syndicated, as are many such columns as well as such frivolous stuff as comic strips, crosswords, Jumble. William Sydney Porter waq sOl.henry and he had many characters in his short stories. O Henry died in l9l0, long before Eleanor Porter was probably born, so they are two different people.
