she is leaving her place of dwelling for which she had stayed 5 weeks and gathering up her stuff to send them to the next place she is going too to live.but something remains a ''spray of orchids'' someone had given her.the flower giving from that person was a ritual.

the orchids has no fragrance but its petals draw you to behold it.she had watered them only once expecting them to wilt eventually and then she would have thrown them out after the 5 weeks .but they were stubborn she did not water them ,they would not die.yet still it kept opening new buds.eventually she decides that she would preserve them in a book and press them between pages of memory.and hopes that probably in their thin dried transparency she would discovered what gave them that long lasting ability but in the end she appreciated them for their beauty and their bravery.
