Through the passing of time, it or whatever it is was short lived.

EX: Parkdale Plaza in CC, TX will be bulldozed and the reason was "transience". It was vacant since 1988 and it happened to have caught fire a year ago. The reason to bulldoze the area down is "transience".

That since the area was short-lived in commercial existence, it was through natural causes eventually and inevitably removed because it's time was short lived (fizzled itself out).

What were most of shakespeare's sonnets about?

The transience of life, love, and quite a few are about carrying on one's beauty by having a child. For example, Sonnet 10 (one of my favourites) ends with the rhyming couplet 'Make thee another self, for love of me; That beauty still may live in thine or thee.'

"A summer's day" or "the darling buds of May". Flowers were a favourite symbol for transient beauty for Shakespeare. See, "for women are as roses, whose fair flower, being once displayed, doth fall that very hour." in Twelfth Night II,4.

What is bubble reputation as you like it speech all the world's a stage?

You know what a bubble is: something that fills with air and grows and grows until pop! it's gone. The bubble is a metaphor for the transience of the kind of reputation the soldier seeks--it grows and grows and in an instant, it's gone. It's sort of like the fame of pop stars.

What does lease mean in Shakespeare?

In Shakespeare's works, the term "lease" often refers to a legal agreement granting temporary possession of property or land to a tenant in exchange for rent. It can also symbolize the concept of time or duration, as in the "lease" of life or love, suggesting a limited or conditional nature. Shakespeare frequently uses this term to explore themes of ownership, transience, and the human condition.
