Did you ever see Monsters Inc. ... there are options in that movie. Also, other monsters from Sesame street have had different kinds of jobs. I know grover has done a lot of things, including trying out being a superhero. I would imagine that all the different kinds of monsters are good at different kinds of things, so anything a regular person could do, they could do... and probably even more. :)
