the purity of the soul and man's deception
The poem and summary for the soul's groan to christ for succor
What does I'm from he restoreth my soul with a cotton ball lamb and ten verses I can say myself mean from the poem where I'm from by George Ella Lyon
Between some of the themes that I found, there were sadness and redemption. The Soul is trying to atone his mistakes and trying to put on the guilt on himself, this guilt comes from all the bad decission the soul choose on his life, and the soul is trying to seek forgiveness from the body. Sadness because the soul is moruning for the fact that he is leaving such a greatfyll friend.
Freedom? Its not a poem about freedom, lest it be freedom of ones own soul. The poem acknowledges the many things that stand in someones way, that one can be beaten down to the ground, bloody and forsaken, but none of that, no action anyone can take against you can affect you where it matters, in your soul, unless you let it. In that way, your soul if free of the oppression your body might be subjected to, and you are free to live by your own standards, despite the circumstances. Similarly, if your convictions clash harshly enough with those around you, you would be free to die with honor, still free of the tyranny that tried to conquer you.

how many peoples in the world
This line from Emily Dickinson's poem suggests that the speaker believes in the power of the individual soul to choose its destiny or purpose. The phrase "her divine Majority" implies that the soul possesses a kind of spiritual authority over itself. The poem explores themes of self-determination and personal agency in matters of the soul's development.
