IN act 2 scene two, the most famous part happens. Juliet is in the window of he room and romeo has just snuck onto Capulet land. he recites a poem to her, but she doesn't actually hear him. she talks about how she doens't care that they are of opposing families, and that Capulet is jsut a name to her. it doens't really make a difference to her. they keep talking and at the end they agree to get married at nine o'clock the next day
Edit: They don't get married at nine o'clock, a messenger is sent to find Romeo at 9 o'clock to get information about the marriage.
which scene and act, may i ask? in scene 4 of act 3, it is agreed that Juliet is to be married to Paris, all of which a complication because Juliet is already married to Romeo, an example of dramatic irony since the audience knows this as truth while Juliet's family does not.
I'm presuming this is the desired act and scene, since this is the one i searched for when attempting to answer some questions of my own.
Romeo gives Mercutio and his buddies the slip, and climbs into Juliet's garden. There he overhears Juliet talking to herself in a way that shows she loves him. He reveals himself and they declare their love for each other. Juliet says if he is interested in marrying her, she will send a messenger.
Romeo arranges to have Friar Lawrence perform the marriage. The Nurse, Juliet's messenger, meets Romeo and Romeo tells her that he will marry Juliet if she can get to Friar Lawrence's cell. The Nurse communicates this to Juliet, who pretends to be going to confession to get to the church. They meet at the church and Friar Lawrence leads them in to marry them.
Well Romeo faced the problem that Rosaline didn't want him. Juliet faced the problem that Paris wants to marry her.

In earlier scene, Juliet is presented as a young, obedient, caring, and beautiful lady.
In Act 2, Scene 2 of Romeo and Juliet, the main complication is the secrecy of Romeo and Juliet's love due to their families' feud. In Act 2, Scene 3, the complication arises when Friar Laurence agrees to marry Romeo and Juliet, hoping it will end the feud but also setting the stage for more complex consequences due to his involvement.
In scenes 2 and 3, the problem presented is the conflict between John Proctor and Reverend Parris. Parris accuses Proctor of not attending church regularly and questions his motives, leading to tension and suspicion between them. This conflict sets the stage for broader themes of control, power, and religious authority in the play.
