Oh, there are so many things that one needs to remember when acting on stage! Here are three of the very, very basics. *project -a.k.a. always speak loud enough for the audience to hear you ... without yelling *don't turn your back to the audience -it is very self explanatory ... the audience doesn't want to see your butt. *don't block -don't stand in front of people when they are talking ... it is their turn, don't block them If you want to be more specific in your question I'd be happy to help ... it was a too general to give a good answer.

Why is Film acting different from stage acting?

stage acting (theatre acting) is acting with a microphone on your person rather than acting with a microphone above your head. with film acting there are specific ways to stand and you have to take your "mark". On a stage it is more freely done. Also, when acting in a film you do not look at the camera at all, that way it seems more real. When acting on a stage sometimes the actors will look at the audience.
