Since we don't know when he got started with acting, we don't know. We can speculate that he may have started playing in an innyard (sort of a hotel parking lot), a popular place for temporary theatres to be set up.
Shakespeare's early career is shrouded in mystery. It is difficult to know whether his earliest plays were written for the company he was performing with at the time, or some other one. We do not know for sure which company he was acting with before 1594. Although we believe that he wrote at least a half-dozen plays before that date, information about when and how and by whom they were performed is hard to come by. The earliest record that might apply was a performance of "harey vj" by Lord Strange's Men at the Rose Theatre on March 3, 1591 recorded in Henslowe's Diary. It is marked as a new play, but we cannot be totally sure that it was Shakespeare's, or, if it was, which part of Henry VI it was. Sussex's Men performed "titus & ondronicus" also at the Rose on January 23, 1593 as a new play, and the Lord Chamberlain's Men performed it at Newington Butts on the 5 and 12 of June, 1594.
It is entirely possible that Shakespeare may have performed at the Theatre Playhouse, or that his plays may have been performed there, but since James Burbage's records, unlike Henslowe's, have not been preserved, we have no way of telling.
