Mac answer: Your hard drive might be damaged. Boot up your mac with the DVD-disc or USB-drive that came with your mac and let Disk Utility try to repair your drive.
If successful you will be able to start your Mac again as normal.
If you are on Apple Care or if you are on your first year within purchase, it is advised to backup as much data as possible before taking it to an Apple Certified Repair shop to get yourself a new Hard drive. Save
