Shakespeare most probably wore the same things that rich people in the 1500 and 1600 hundreds wore. The extant pictures of Shakespeare depict him wearing a lace frill. Some experts have cast doubt on the veracity of this depiction, particularly his clothes. Other portraits show him in a broad collared shirt and collarless jacket. His clothes were probably the thing everyone was wearing back then and his plays would have the top notch clothes.

Shakespeare wore clothes that wear fashionable in his era, yet stylish and practical. He wanted to make an impression when he was acting in other plays, and directing his own. he wanted respect and that is exactly what he got.

They wore many different types of items. They used lots of ugly grey things and they did not have great fashion whats so ever. Yep. That's how it was. Also they had some crazy hair back in the day.

Shakespeare wore what most people wore in the 15 and 1600's, lots of lace frill, a collared shirt and collarless jacket, belts, ruffs and hats.
