"'O sole mio" is a globally known Neapolitan song written in 1898. It has been performed and covered by many artists, including such stalwarts of opera as Enrico Caruso, Beniamino Gigli, Mario Lanza, The Three Tenors, as well as rock/pop artists such as Bryan Adams, Me First and the Gimme Gimmes, Vitas (who sings it in a high countertenor range) and Elvis Presley. Luciano Pavarotti won the 1980 Grammy Award for Best Classical Vocal Performance for his rendition of 'O Sole Mio. The lyrics were written by Giovanni Capurro, and the melody was composed by Eduardo di Capua. Though there are versions in other languages, 'O sole mio is usually sung in the original Neapolitan language. 'O sole mio is the Neapolitan equivalent of Standard Italian Il sole mio and translates literally as "My Sun" (not "Oh My Sun").

Yes, Luciano Pavarotti did have a granddaughter. His granddaughter, Caterina, was the only grandchild he met before his death. He had four children.
Pavarotti happens to be my favourite. If I want to be inspired about something, I find the very best. Pavarotti has long been associated with "Nessun Dorma": he is truly "the" tenor for that piece; so that would make a good start. Further, I have heard him on Youtube doing a number of absolutely marvellous renditions of Schubert's version of "Ave Maria", especially when younger, during the 1970's and 1980's. I would suggest they are excellent material.
Pavarotti had two wives. He had three daughters from the first wife and one daughter from his second wife whom he married in 2003.

The commercial is for Leggo's tomato paste, and named "Rhapsody In Red".The song is "La Donna e Mobile (the woman is fickle)" sung by Luciano Pavarotti. It is part of the opera Rigolettowritten by Giuseppe Verdi in 1851.This is not Luciano Pavarotti singing. It may be Murray Mayday from Opera Australia.Based on the second part of the aria, it may be Kenneth Collins the great Spinto tenor of international acclaim who eventually moved to Australia to work for the Australian Opera as their principal tenor for all the big Spinto Verdi tenor roles. The cadenza is identical to the way he sang it, tone for tone, even the phrasing/breathing. It is not clear why the splice was made, although possibly because no one can sing those notes quite like Collins. Still, credit Murray as the first part is beautifully sung.
President Lincoln's first name was Abraham.
The Lincoln cent was first minted in 1909, to honor the centennial of Lincoln's birth.
