what are some of the challenges an actor face.
well i am not sure who you are asking but for Me, my personal challenges would have to be growing up in a house with a drunk and abusive father and a depressed mother. another one of my personal challenges that i have faced were going through a deep, dark depression where i have found myslef doing the wrong thing by taking my anger and sadness out on myself, i have had over 54 deeps cuts on my legs and my arms but i also had about 100 scars all together if you want to count the minor scars. i, to this day, do not regret that only because it had made me a better, more stronger person today. my depression has gone away yet i still think it might come back because i was also in a two year relationship with a drug addict who also decided to take advantage of me by having me as a personal punching bag and/or his own sex toy. i have gone through alot but i always try to help those who have gone through something that have made an impression on their life. so now i ask, what personal challenges have YOU faced? and i can help (:
The ideal place for an audience member to view a play is from above, not below. The stage was higher than the floor on which the groundlings stood, but the floor was level, not raked, which meant that those at the back would have had a poor view, especially of the actors' feet. But the people in the lowest rung of the stalls may have had an even worse view, since they were not that much raised above the groundlings, and they were seated. Such problems are even worse in older proscenium theatres, which are larger and in which most of the audience is placed in seats on a flat floor with a raised stage. Only those closest to the stage get a proper view. The ideal design for a stage is that developed by the Ancient Greeks and used by them and the ancient Romans, where the audience sits in ever-ascending rows with the stage at the bottom. But neither group gave much thought to theatre design: the earliest Greek plays were performed at the bottom of hillsides, so their theatres were designed to reflect that. The earliest Elizabethan plays were performed in innyards, so their theatre construction mirrored inn design.
Shakespeare overcame many problems in theater, but also in life. One of these things he overcame in life was being an eighteen year old and haveing a wife and child to take care of.
He probably faced money troubles... Judging by what I have found on other reliable websites... I hope this helps
