Any fast moving song would work to show off the ten year old's skills. If they are very advanced, then an even faster song should be used to showcase more difficult moves. The thing is to keep the song up to speed with the moves that the dancer is doing, so they appear skilled and experienced.
Bottoms Up, written by Keke Palmer, is a good song for break dancing.
Well this depends on the type of dance you are planning on doing. For jazz I would say something playful and fast such as all that jazz, or glamorous life. For lyrical I would say the song listen or would you forgive me love. Whichever song you choose, make sure its powerful and you feel a connection :) Good Luck.... Live, Love, Dance!
If you take dance do a modern dance w/ someone else in your school, prefrebly smaller than you that way you can do lifts and stuff a good song for that would be happy. if not do a jazz to something like Bad romance. OR do hip hop to something like magic.
Just Dance by Lady Gaga is a good song for a family dance.
they dance the song "gasolina" by daddy Yankee and they beat to the beat but sadly not good enough they got eliminated that same night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fame (1980)
The theme song of the American televised dance show is titled "So You Can Dance". The competition usually airs on the Fox in the United States flagship series.
Try Simple Gifts ('Tis the gift to be simple...), an old Shaker song, which is also a round dance.
A good song for the first dance should be slow and very romantic LOL. !!!!"""£££$$$%%%^^^&&&**(())__++
The Old Navy commercial with the song Footloose by Kenny Loggins being played would be a good commercial song for two 14 year old girls to dance to, not sing along with.
Some good choices would be any song that has a slow rythmic tone that someone and their dance partner could both dance on the same pace to. Sweet jazz would be a good option.
