This sounds like two separate questions. My remote for the trunk works
about 1 time out of 20 attempts. I've replaced the batteries in the remote,
but it didn't change anything. My door lock/unlock buttons work fine, although I would like a little more range. I'm afraid I don't know quite what to tell you here. If your door lock buttons work OK, I'd leave the batteries alone and check for good lubrication in all of the trunk's moving parts.
As to the lights in the trunk lid, you can replace them from the inside of the trunk lid. You can sort of see where the sockets are and how to (gently) twist them out to replace the bulbs. If you can't get the sockets loose, as was my problem, you can remove about 6 screws or nuts and pull the entire trunk light assembly out for better access.
For what it's worth, it looks pretty cool when all of those lamps DO light up!

Tim owns a pocket knife with five different tools. It has a corkscrew, a bottle opener, tweezers, a screwdriver and something else. ... Answer. A knife. I did not come up with this, I copied it from the internet under 'riddles' Nan R.
If you have an opener with a single light it will be on the back of the opener. If your opener has two lights it will be on one of the two sides under the light cover. it will be one of four colors white, purple, green, or orange.
Buttons to be used as a garage door opener. They must be programmed to your opener.
Chevy doesnt offer that option. Get a visor clip on unit...LOL!
On my 2000 JGCL I changed the fuse for the brake lights today...and it had a diagram on the opener to get into the fuse box and it said position 23 was for the brakes! Hope that helps.
By pulsate do you mean flicker. A momentary dimming of your lights can be caused by motor loads on your lighting circuits. If your lights dim, this can be caused by a refrigerator, sump pump, garage door opener or other motors sharing the circuit with your lighting.
On my RX 350 and Craftsman opener I just pushed the memory button on the Craftsman opener briefly (the signal light came on next to the button) and released it. Then I pressed the sender in my car within 30 seconds. It wasn't long before the lights on the opener flashed and I then released the Lexus button. Didn't have to hold anything down very long at all.
