The best time to join a hip hop dance class is when your young, so if you really get good at it then you can be a dancer when your older.
It is never too early or too late to learn to dance. I took Ballet when I was a preteen and had to drop out when I was sent to high school in another city and had too much commuting time for this type of activity. I can assure you that the physical discipline that I gained in those few short years of training lasted a long time before I became too disabled. Good posture and a strong stride kept me going so that most people didn't know that I had a problem. Two of my favorite TV programs are "So you think you can dance" and "Americas best dance crew". Do take the dance training and any other type dance training that you can afford. You will not regret it.
I agree. I am only 13 and I love to dance. If you want to have a career in dancing you should start when your young. However, dancing when your older is a great way to excersize and get fit and have fun.

Most children can learn and retain movement at about the age of 4, although I'm sure there are exceptions. Try to get her involved in some type of movement class to let her have fun and get her started. There are gym classes and dance classes that you could also get involved with to have fun and see if it is what she wants to do.
