In the end it was Othello whol literally went insane with Jealousy, it engulfed him and ultimately controlled him.

There is not a lot of early performance history for Othello. It was written at a time when the King's Men (as they then were) had the First Globe as their main venue, so it is likely that it was performed there. It's difficult to know what part or parts Shakespeare may have played in the play. Brabantio or Ludovico perhaps.
